Daily Mail journalist, Carla McKay, has sung the praises of VASER Liposuction in her article on 9th December 2009. The 58-year-old had the treatment as a present to herself for her birthday and described the procedure as the “magic wand” which “zapped away” the excess fat on her stomach.
The whole procedure took just 90 minutes and resulted in the removal of 2.3 litres (12lb) of fat from the patient's stomach area. In her article, Ms McKay described herself as "a bit vulnerable and delicate" for a couple of days, but "over the moon" with the results.
VASER liposuction uses ultrasound technology and is far less intrusive than traditional liposuction. It involves no cutting and is performed under local anaesthetic – as opposed to general anaesthetic.
