Mr Chana is one of few British Plastic Surgeons to become a full member of this prestigious international society . This society represents
the foremost surgeons from all over the world and promotes high standards in research, training and professional courses related to Aesthetic
Plastic Surgery.
British Association of Aesthetic Surgeons (BAAPS)
Mr Chana is a full member of the BAAPS which is the professional body representing fully accredited Plastic and Aesthetic Surgeons and which is
recognised by the Royal College of Surgeons. It is the only professional body in Aesthetic Surgery which audits the safety data of its Members.
BAAPS has awarded Prizes to Mr Chana and his trainees for work and research in the field of Aesthetic Surgery. Mr Chana is also regularly
invited to speak in the media about good practice and safety in Cosmetic Surgery.
British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS)
Mr Chana is a full member of the BAPRAS which is the professional body representing fully accredited Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and
which is recognised by the Royal College of Surgeons to represent Plastic Surgeons with respect to their training, accreditation and teaching
and research credentials. With so many allied professionals and Doctors inappropriately calling themselves Plastic Surgeons of one form or
another, BAPRAS also is responsible for educating the public about the value of choosing a fully trained Plastic Surgeon.
Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England
Mr Chana is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and has been awarded the FRCS (Plast) which is the specific qualification which indicates completion of training in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery.
