secret surgery

If you had cosmetic surgery would you tell family and friends or keep it a secret?

A study by the Australian National University health sociologist Rhian Parker found that people who kept their operations secret were also the most ill-informed about what they were going through.

Dr Parker said: “Part of it is because many women go into cosmetic surgery in a secret way. They might have looked at the web or other sources, but there isn’t any comprehensive information out there which shows exactly what all of the risks of cosmetic procedures are.”

According to Dr Parker, this is a concern that needs urgent attention. In addition, those who want to undergo a cosmetic surgery must speak to at least three specialists.
