Since Simon Cowell and Gordon Ramsay admitted to having filler injections to plump out the deep creases in the chin and forehead, it seems that more and more British men are reaping the benefits of cosmetic surgery and non-surgical procedures.

Many of our new patients are men who want to look younger and fitter, to appear more like serious competition to their younger colleagues. It is actually no surprise that cosmetic surgery among men has been a rising trend, as it has been happening for a long time, particularly in the US and UK.

Increasing numbers of men who, not long ago, would have derided procedures like microdermabrasion (reviving skin dulled by air-conditioning and too much flying) or liposuction (flattening “man-boobs” or love handles) as unnecessary or unmanly, are signing up for these very things.

Hard working men are no longer prepared to look ten years older than they are. They have also seen how their fathers looked in their 50s and are thinking “I don’t want to look like that.”
