Botox approved for prevention of Chronic Migraines

The BBC Health news reported that Botox has been approved as a preventative treatment for chronic migraine by UK drug regulators. But only those patients who are suffering from headaches for at least 15 days a month, are admitted to the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency. It is thought around 700,000 people in the UK get chronic migraines.
